# Heavenly Kingdoms Patch #9 Changes from January 28-29th ## Added - Jobs - Miner - Now earns money and experience for breaking: - Amethyst Block - $1, 1 EXP - Budding Amethyst - $1.5, 1.5 EXP - Small Amethyst Bud - $0, 0.25 EXP - Medium Amethyst Bud - $0.5, 0.5 EXP - Large Amethyst Bud - $1, 1 EXP - Amethyst Cluster - $10, 10 EXP - NPCs - Changes - Most NPCs have had their names changed to light grey from light green. Now only Trader NPCs have their names in light green. - Lumberjacks - Renamed the trading NPCs to Lumber Luke and the non-interactable NPC Ethan - Orcs - Made some small changes to the Orcs outside of Cloud Town (spawn) - Miners - Made some small changes to the Miners outside of Cloud Town - Spawn - Added some signs at spawn pointing towards the different trader NPCs. - Welcoming Kit - All new players who join now receive access to /tpa, in addition to the other gifts, for 24 hours when they join for the first time. - This does not apply retroactively to existing players. ## Removed - Custom Items - Custom "vanilla" items - Our original idea to upgrade through the tiers to unlock the higher level equipment or gear has been partially reverted. While we still think it's a good idea, the reality is that such a system is confusing for a lot of players if we are unable to disable the vanilla recipes. And this is the case for us. Players would unknowingly craft items normally and end up with diamond or netherite gear that they then can't upgrade to Spinel and beyond. This is why we're removing the custom items and recipes of the leather/wooden tiers up to netherite. You STILL need the lower tiers to upgrade your custom gear. However, it generally starts with the vanilla Netherite items. Use "/ia" to see the recipes. ## Buffed - Custom Enchantments - Enchanting Table - Chance for custom enchantment raised to 75 from 70% - Can now get Superior and Ultimate enchantments - Changed weighted chance for custom enchantments: - Basic 50 from 10 - Uncommon 40 from 9 - Superior 20 from 0 - Ultimate 15 from 0 - Custom Items - Spinel to End Sword - Increased damage by 0.5 per tier. - Spinel 8.5 from 8 - End Sword 12.5 from 12 - Voting - Lucky Votes - Decreased the following lucky vote chances: - Bonus $400 - 18/100 from 33/100 chance - 1 Common Key - 15/100 from 30/100 - 4 Key Fragments - 15/100 from 30/100 - 1 Soul Tracker 10/100 from 20/100 - 1 Soul Gem (10 Souls) - 10/100 from 15/100 - 1 Uncommon Key - 7/100 from 20/100 - Bonus $1500 - 7/100 from 15/100 - 3 Random Ultimate Books - 7/100 from 15/100 - Bonus $3000 - 5/100 from 15/100 ## Nerfed - Nerfed ## Changed - Custom Enchantments - Mystic Enchanter - Anyone can purchase books from the Mystic Enchanter (/enchanter) and not just the Enchanter job workers. We're looking for other buufs to the Enchanter, such as discounted /enchanter prices. ## Fixed - Crates - Backpacks should now always give you the correct backpack when you win. ## Known Issues - Known Issues - Connecting to Server - Older clients are automatically kicked from the server when they accept the server resource pack. The chances of this being fixed seem low at the present moment. We may remove the oldest currently supported clients completely. - 1.8 clients are known to have this issue. - 1.12 and newer **should** have no issues. - Loot Crates - Winning backpacks from some crates currently results in an error. The developer of the plugin is working on a fix to the giving feature. - Anti-Cheat issues - Using enchantments that break blocks in a radius (e.g. Drill, Excavate) will incorrectly detect you as cheating and may kick you from the server. - The developer has said they're currently reworking the cheat detection. Hopefully this will resolve these issues in the future. - Dynamic View Distance - Due to how the Minecraft Client and Server interact with each other, fog distance may appear much further away than it would normally do. This is likely the best solution at the present. - World Generation: Loot - Custom dungeons that generate in the world spawn without loot in their chests. Vanilla loot chests (in e.g. Desert Temples or villages) should function normally. - Farming custom crops may not give Farmer experience - Specifically, this targets crops added by ItemsAdder - Custom Enchantment: Vein Miner - Unique enchantment. If using "Custom Enchantment: Experience", only the initial block broken yields the bonus experience. Blocks that should be affected by Fortune (e.g. Diamond Ore) may not have the Fortune experience applied to it. - Custom Enchantment: Void Charge - Fabled enchantment. Enchantment may not activate. May need to be completely changed or removed. Players who have Void Charge may be refunded a random Fabled Enchantment Book if contacting an admin. - ItemsAdder: Repairing Items - Wooden and Stone Swords currently can only be repaired in an anvil using Oak Planks and Cobblestone respectively. You can still craft them using the vanilla blocks. You can also view the recipes in /ia, under "Swords".
