The Jobs overhaul!

This is the second step towards beta release and the server's hard reset.
Apologies for the slow progress being made but all the server work that needs to be done is handled by only one at this time.

Core mechanics to Jobs will change with this update. Each profession will also receive various changes, ranging from small to large.
For simplicity's sake, only the new changes will be listed in this update. Old and/or removed mechanics will not be mentioned.


1.17 update!

The single biggest change is the server upgrade from 1.16 to 1.17! We've always aimed to upgrade as soon as possible. Running as many plugins as our Towny server is, it has taken time to make sure everything works on Java 16. That is in addition to all the other changes that were already determined.
Still, we've made amazing progress towards the final steps before the beta release!

- The server is currently on 1.17. However, the world has not been reset yet. In the meanwhile, I've temporarily added a "/randomshop" plugin that rotates its stock every hour. It may have certain 1.17 items, such as Deepslate, Deepslate ores, plants and other items!

8. Pregenerate new world

9. Host the 1v1/2v2 tournament, if any


10. Reset and release!


- Skill Improvement
There are different skill levels in professions. Different quests are unlocked depending on your skill level. Also, levelling up to Apprentice and higher is now broadcasted!
Novice - Lvl 0
Apprentice - Lvl 10
Initiate - Lvl 20
Journeyman - Lvl 40
Adept - Lvl 50
Master - Lvl 60
Grandmaster - Lvl 80
Legend - Lvl 100

- Daily Quests
Now refreshes every 8 hours instead of 24.
Skip Quest cost has been set to $1000.
Skip limit per 8 hours: -1 (unlimited, was 1).
All quests have been changed from cash rewards to profession EXP rewards. Higher level quests offer better rewards.


Quest rewards, general guidelines
1 Novice quests: 20 EXP
10 Apprentice quests: 45 EXP
20 Initiate quests: 75 EXP
40 Journeyman quests: 100 EXP
50 Adept quests: 200 EXP
60 Master quests: 500 EXP
80 Grandmaster quests: 1000 EXP
100 Legend quests: N/A (No more EXP quests at lvl 100)

Currently, only the Miner profession has a quest at lvl 100.
It's intended that all professions will have at least one quest available to them at the Legend skill rank.



- Pay For Above
Pays for blocks broken above initial block. Only works for Sugarcane, Bamboo and Kelp.

- Dynamic Payment
Payment will now depend on how many players are also in the same profession!
The maximum penalty for having too many workers in a job is -40%
The highest bonus for working in an unpopular job is +100%


- Daily Earning Limit
You can now only earn up to 15000 from Jobs per day, capped from unlimited.

- Cow Milking Cooldown
The cooldown has been increased from 30s to 20 minutes (once every in-game day).
You can no longer Milk a cow until the timer is over.


- Block Ownership (payout and EXP)
Blast Furances, Smokers and Brewing Stands are now registered to the last user who opened it just like Furnaces.
Ownership lets you be paid for actions, such as cooking food. This setting was off for the aforementioned blocks.


- Quitting Job EXP Penalty
The penalty for quitting your job has been reduced from -60% to -33%.
You cannot lose EXP from quitting at Level 100 (unchanged).


- All Jobs: Progression Equations.
